What’s the meaning behind “a-taraxy”?
- Ataraxy is a state of freedom from passion or disturbance of mind, characteristic of Epicureanism and Stoicism. It’s a state of extreme calm and indifference. Even though I can’t live by this concept I like what it defends :)
